The Power of Painting

What I love seeing is the deep change that happens as you connect with your unique voice. Painting gives us the opportunity to hear ourselves in a society that is constant, loud and conforming. Creating builds a place of rest. The themes I want to explore with you are deep listening, building self confidence, celebrating beauty, and connecting through self expression.

My life changed when I embraced creativity after many years of being too busy. After years of working and running a household, then caretaking for my aging parents, I had to face the space they left behind. I learned to put my feelings on the canvas and it was like waking from a deep sleep. The deepest reason I do this work is because it connects me. I am more in tune with my body, my voice, my choices, and the way I want to show up in the world.
